The regulator hose connects to a gate valve to control flow, then goes up to a brass quick connect.  This gives you total flexability over the gas flow.

 

A rubber hose is permanently connected to the burner with a quick connect on the other end

This way either burner can be connected in a snap to the propane tank and the flow is easily controlled through the gate valve

A "T" fitting can be snapped on so that both burners can be run at the same time if necessary
